Weldcom

Smarobics is a software system developed by Weldcom Industrial JSC, a Hanoi-based supplier of metal fabrication equipment and automated production lines, for 3D mechanical design and control of welding robots. Users import 3D product design files, and the software automatically generates welding programs, identifies material thickness, suggests welding parameters and calculates weld seams, including on complex built-up steel beams, reducing manual robot programming. It simulates robot lines in real time to estimate welding time and detect collisions, and integrates sensors and external axes. Smarobics received a Make in Vietnam Gold award in 2024.
