Leanheat Building, now part of the Danfoss Leanheat software suite, is an AI- and IoT-based solution that optimises heating and indoor climate in buildings. Its AI learns each building's behaviour and combines weather forecasts, heating system data and energy tariffs to forecast an optimal 48-hour heating plan that is updated hourly. It is aimed at building owners seeking lower energy costs and emissions, and at district heating suppliers using demand-side management to reduce peak loads and use buildings as virtual heat storage.
