BroadBit Batteries

BroadBit Batteries is a Helsinki, Finland-based company developing batteries based on sodium chemistries, with active materials that include sodium chloride and metallic sodium. It also develops ProLion electrolyte technology, including a Li-ion electrolyte it launched commercially in 2020. Its batteries target electric vehicles, engine starters, portable electronics, backup power and grid energy storage, using a non-flammable electrolyte and low-cost, abundant raw materials intended to allow manufacturing at almost any scale.
