ICEYE

ICEYE is a Finnish space-technology company headquartered in Espoo that designs, builds and operates its own constellation of synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellites for persistent Earth observation. The company was founded to overcome the limitations of optical satellite imagery, which cannot see through cloud cover or darkness, by delivering radar imagery that captures ground conditions day or night in any weather.

ICEYE’s satellites and mission systems provide imagery at resolutions down to 25 cm, accessed by customers through an API platform, tasking services and dedicated mission packages such as ISR Cell for defense users; natural-catastrophe products analyze flood, hurricane and wildfire damage for insurers and governments. Customers include defense and intelligence agencies, insurers, banks, utilities and energy companies across more than a dozen countries where ICEYE maintains offices.
