1. Technology overview
Arianee SAS is a French company founded in 2018 that started with digital certificates of authenticity for luxury watches and fashion and now positions itself as open infrastructure for the EU Digital Product Passport. It helps brands and retailers comply with ESPR and the EU Battery Regulation while building ongoing relationships with product owners.
The platform combines a role-based passport portal for consumers, technicians and resellers (with ownership transfer and maintenance history), a back office for templates and bulk creation, and a compliance checker for ESPR and battery rules. Data is published through GS1 Digital Link and pushed to the EU DPP Registry. It runs on Google Cloud hosted in France and is used by more than 50 brands, including Fnac Darty, Beko, Breitling and Lacoste.

3. Potential application
Vietnamese appliance and electronics manufacturers supplying EU retailers can provide passport data through Arianee templates. Fashion and accessories brands can issue digital authenticity certificates with ownership transfer. Battery and e-bike exporters can prepare for the 2027 battery passport deadline.
4. Benefits
Brands can launch regulation-ready passports from templates and bulk imports instead of custom builds. Role-based views give consumers, repairers and resellers the data each needs. Built-in compliance checks and EU registry submission reduce the risk of non-conforming passports. Ownership transfer and maintenance history support resale, repair and customer engagement programmes.
5. Market trends & opportunities
The EU central DPP registry went live in 2026, battery passports become mandatory in February 2027 and textile and electronics passports are being defined under ESPR. Vietnamese exporters of appliances, electronics, garments and furniture will need passport data that their EU brand and retail customers can publish.
