1. Technology overview
CheckVN is operated by the Center for Enterprise Integration and Development (IDE), established in 2013 under the Vietnam Association of Small and Medium Enterprises and based in Hanoi, with offices in Can Tho and Dak Nong. It provides traceability, anti-counterfeiting and e-warranty solutions for government agencies, businesses and cooperatives.
The CheckVN Trace platform issues and activates two-layer QR stamps serialised by lot or batch, records codes for each stage from raw material areas to distribution, and supports recall management, online cameras and a consumer scan page. Data can be pushed to the National Traceability Portal. The technology is protected by patent No. 16036 and utility solution No. 3341, and CheckVN reports deployments in more than 47 provinces and cities.

4. Benefits
Low entry cost, with a one-time setup fee of VND 1.2 million on the published price list, suits SMEs and cooperatives. Two-layer QR stamps serialised by batch support both traceability and anti-counterfeiting. Alignment with TCVN 12850:2019 and links to the national portal help businesses meet Vietnamese regulations and retailer requirements. Recall management lets producers act quickly on faulty batches.
5. Market trends & opportunities
Vietnam is expanding mandatory traceability for food, agricultural and livestock products and has launched a national traceability system for agricultural products. OCOP producers, cooperatives and SMEs need affordable tools that meet TCVN standards, connect to the national portal and help fight counterfeit goods on retail and e-commerce channels.
