1. Technology overview
Yinson GreenTech is the green technology arm of the Yinson group, operating Yinson Green Technologies Pte Ltd in Singapore and serving Singapore and Malaysia. It aims to electrify transport on land and sea through three businesses: chargEV for charging, drivEV for EV fleets and marinEV for electric vessels. drivEV targets companies that want to switch fleets to electric without buying and managing the vehicles themselves.
drivEV offers all-inclusive EV leasing that bundles vehicle selection, tailored financing, maintenance, insurance renewal and after-sales support. Its catalogue covers about 49 models across passenger cars, commercial vans, light trucks and heavy vehicles up to 120-ton tonnage. Smart depot charging and standalone charging are offered alongside telematics for vehicle health and location, digital keys, driver behaviour analytics, a connected EV app and a route optimiser. Customers named on the site include POS Malaysia, Grab, GoCar, FedEx and IKEA.

3. Potential application
Parcel and e-commerce delivery companies in Vietnam can lease electric vans with depot charging for last-mile routes. Manufacturers can electrify staff shuttles and corporate cars under one service contract. Logistics firms can trial electric light trucks with telematics before committing to larger purchases.
4. Benefits
Fleet operators can electrify vehicles without large upfront purchases thanks to leasing with tailored financing. Maintenance, insurance renewal and after-sales support are bundled, reducing in-house fleet administration. Depot charging and telematics come from one provider, and driver analytics plus route optimisation help improve safety and vehicle utilisation.
5. Market trends & opportunities
Logistics, e-hailing and corporate fleets in Southeast Asia face pressure to cut emissions and fuel costs, while EV purchase prices and residual-value risk remain barriers. Leasing bundled with charging and telematics is emerging as a way for fleets to electrify, and Vietnam's growing EV van and truck market creates similar demand.
