uHoo Aura

uHoo is an indoor environmental monitoring company, announced from Singapore and operating since 2016, founded by Dustin Onghanseng and Brian Lin. It helps building owners and occupiers measure the air people breathe indoors, where most waking hours are spent and pollutant levels can be several times higher than outside.

The enterprise product, uHoo Aura, is a plug-and-play monitor powered by USB or Power over Ethernet and connected by Wi-Fi or a pre-configured 4G SIM. It measures 13 parameters, expandable to 16 with gas modules such as NO2, O3 and SO2, and calculates indices for virus, mold, influenza, pollen and vape risk. A web dashboard and mobile app show live data, alerts and reports, and an API lets data flow into building management systems to automate air conditioning and ventilation. Customers include developers, multinationals, hotels, factories and government bodies.
