Lac Viet is a Vietnamese software company that has built digital platforms and IT systems since 1994, known for its dictionary, ERP, HR and document management products. Its AI line targets organisations that want document digitisation and chatbots but cannot send internal data to public cloud services.

LV Local AI Server is an all-in-one on-premise appliance that bundles OCR, AI data extraction from unstructured text, an AI translator, an internal-data chatbot and an integrated LLM that can be fine-tuned for specific tasks. It is sold in three tiers, from an AI PC for 10 to 20 users to an enterprise PowerEdge server with an NVIDIA L40 GPU for up to 500 users, and plugs into Lac Viet's document, collaboration and ERP software.

A provincial department or state-owned enterprise can digitise archived records and search them through an internal chatbot. A manufacturer can extract data from supplier invoices and contracts on site. A legal or translation team can translate confidential documents without cloud exposure.

Data is processed and stored locally rather than sent to public cloud AI services, reducing leakage risk for confidential documents. Hardware is sized to the organisation, from 10 users to under 500, with installation and onsite service included. Flexible purchase, rental and hire-purchase options lower the upfront barrier. One box covers OCR, extraction, translation and chatbot needs.

State agencies, banks and large enterprises in Vietnam handle large volumes of paper records but face strict rules on data security and personal data protection. On-premise AI appliances let them use OCR and generative AI without moving sensitive documents to foreign cloud platforms.
