SafeGate Secure Gateway

SCS Cybersecurity JSC, operating under the SafeGate brand, is a Vietnamese cybersecurity company based at the National Innovation Center (NIC) in Cau Giay, Hanoi. It was founded by specialists in cybersecurity, cloud, big data and AI and builds domestic network security products for organizations, schools and households that need to monitor connections and block cyber threats.

SafeGate Secure Gateway is a connection management and network security gateway built on a microservices architecture with big data and AI. It uses proprietary Hybrid-DPI to inspect and control traffic, and combines application control, URL filtering with AI-based malicious URL detection, intrusion detection and prevention, QoS bandwidth management, load balancing and asset discovery for computers, IoT and mobile devices. Administrators manage it from a Vietnamese cloud console, and it is offered as Security as a Service with devices sold or leased.

• Asset discovery: Identifies and manages computers, IoT devices and mobile devices on the network.

A retail chain can deploy leased gateways at each store to filter malicious URLs and prioritize payment traffic. A school system can control application access by time slot and block harmful content. A provincial agency can gain visibility over IoT and staff devices connected to its office network.

Organizations gain one gateway for traffic visibility, threat blocking and bandwidth control instead of separate tools, which the vendor positions as lowering operating costs. The Security as a Service model with leased devices reduces upfront investment. A Vietnamese-language console and domestic engineering team ease administration and support for local IT staff. Cloud-based management allows the deployment to scale across many sites.

Vietnam has listed cybersecurity among its strategic technologies and introduced new rules on information system protection and data violations, raising demand for domestically developed security products. Small and mid-sized organizations increasingly prefer subscription-based security services over buying and operating separate appliances.
