1. Technology overview
Nodeflux is an Indonesian computer vision company based in South Jakarta that builds video analytics, AI agent and satellite intelligence systems for governments and enterprises. Its systems run on the customer's own infrastructure, and the company reports deployments in all 34 Indonesian provinces and in eight other countries, including Vietnam and the Philippines.
VisionAIre is the analytics engine inside Nodeflux's on-premise video management system, operated through the Lenz console. It ingests RTSP and RTMP camera streams or uploaded recordings and runs face recognition, crowd estimation, people counting, license plate recognition, vehicle counting, fire and smoke detection and other safety engines. It can be deployed on premise, in hybrid cloud or with on-device edge processing, and a single deployment supports more than 1,000 cameras. Users include police, immigration, customs, provincial governments, ports, industry and retail.
2. Highlighted features & specifications
- Face recognition: real-time identification and multi-face tracking with age and gender estimates.
- Crowd and people analytics: density thresholds, line-crossing counts, dwell timers and queue warnings.
- Vehicle analytics: license plate recognition, counting by type and direction, and illegal parking alerts.
- Safety detection: fire and smoke, fights, phone use, vandalism and camera tampering.
- Lenz console: live monitoring, search, recording and playback in one video management system.
- Flexible ingest: RTSP, RTMP, HLS, mobile and GPS feeds plus offline files up to 50 GB.
3. Potential application
An industrial park in Vietnam can detect fire, smoke and unauthorised entry across existing cameras. A port or logistics hub can count vehicles and flag illegal parking at gates. A retail chain can measure footfall, dwell time and queues to plan staffing.
4. Benefits
Existing IP cameras can be reused because streams are ingested over RTSP and RTMP, with no per-camera licence mentioned on the site. Built-in recording and playback remove the need for a separate NVR. Compression is stated to cut bandwidth by up to 87%. On-premise and edge deployment keeps sensitive video inside the customer's network.
5. Market trends & opportunities
Cities, ports, factories and retailers across Southeast Asia have large installed camera bases that are rarely watched in real time. Running analytics on premise or at the edge turns these cameras into sensors while keeping data under local control, which matters for public safety agencies and for data protection rules in the region.
6. Other information
Nodeflux is headquartered on Jl. Kemang Timur, South Jakarta. Its face recognition ranked in the top 25 worldwide in the 2019 NIST FRVT benchmark, and it lists NVIDIA and Intel as partners. Besides VisionAIre it offers the Athena AI agent and on-orbit satellite detection models.
