1. Technology overview
Profet AI is a Taiwanese industrial AI company established in 2018. It helps manufacturers turn the know-how of senior engineers into reusable AI models, so that process, quality and equipment teams can use machine learning without data scientists. The company says it serves more than 200 mid-sized and large manufacturers in Asia and has set up a Japan subsidiary and a Suzhou joint venture.
Its no-code AutoML platform trains and compares predictive models on structured production data such as yield, quality, equipment and process parameters, and explains the key drivers behind each prediction. AI Studio lets teams build governed AI agents and workflows, and the Domain Twin framework packages models and expert knowledge into accelerators for new product introduction (NPI), field engineering (FAE) and production and material control (PMC). Users include AUO Digitech, Hi-P Group and GIS.
2. Highlighted features & specifications
- No-code AutoML: trains and compares many algorithms on structured manufacturing data.
- Model explainability: shows key drivers, validation results and the range where a model applies.
- AI Studio: drag-and-drop builder for governed AI assistants, knowledge and workflows.
- Domain Twin: turns validated models and frontline know-how into reusable enterprise AI assets.
- Twin accelerators: ready workflows for NPI, field application engineering and production-material control.
- AI Thinking Workshop: guided programme to find use cases and build in-house AI capability.
3. Potential application
An electronics or PCB plant in Vietnam can predict yield from process parameters and find the main defect drivers. A chemical or materials producer can optimise recipes to cut cost. A Taiwanese-invested factory opening a new site can transfer models and expert rules from its home plant.
4. Benefits
Process and quality engineers can build and validate models themselves through a no-code workflow, keeping domain experts involved in every step. Explainable results show which parameters drive yield or defects before changes are deployed. A published parameter-optimisation case recorded a 10% production cost reduction. Governed agents let companies scale proven models across plants.
5. Market trends & opportunities
Electronics, semiconductor and component makers expanding into Malaysia, Vietnam and Thailand face shortages of experienced process engineers and pressure on yield. No-code industrial AI that captures expert knowledge and can be rolled out to new plants supports this regional shift of supply chains.
6. Other information
Profet AI was established in Taiwan in 2018, completed a US$5.6 million Series A in 2023, set up the Profet AI Suzhou joint venture in 2023 and won a 2024 AI Award. It has opened a Japan subsidiary, works with Hexatech Solutions in Thailand and Ashisuto Global Technologies in Malaysia.
