1. Technology overview
Fleetune is a South Korean startup based in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, that builds AI route optimization and dispatch software for companies running their own delivery vehicles. It targets operators where dispatchers still sort addresses in Excel and plan routes by hand, and also serves shuttle, rental car and on-demand mobility services as a B2B mobility platform.
Fleetune TMS turns an uploaded Excel list of stops into vehicle assignments and stop sequences in seconds, with zone dispatch, optimal dispatch that suggests the number of vehicles, balanced dispatch by time or stops, and Flex insertion of same-day orders into fixed routes. Dispatchers adjust routes by drag and drop and send them to a driver app with navigation, photo proof of delivery and automatic customer arrival messages. Live monitoring and settlement of actual distance and tolls close the loop. It is offered as SaaS, custom development or API.
2. Highlighted features & specifications
- AI dispatch: zone, optimal and balanced dispatch modes for multi-vehicle delivery.
- Zone optimization: allocates delivery points to several distribution centres by distance and volume.
- Fleetune Flex: inserts urgent same-day orders into fixed routes while keeping familiar stop sequences.
- Driver app: route reception, turn-by-turn navigation, photo proof of delivery and automatic customer messages.
- Live monitoring: real-time vehicle map, ETA sharing and comparison of planned versus actual tracks.
- Settlement and API: actual distance and toll settlement, plus TMS APIs for existing ERP or WMS.
3. Potential application
- A restaurant franchise in Vietnam can plan daily ingredient deliveries to its outlets and share ETAs with store managers.
- A fresh fruit or meal-kit company can route home deliveries within customer time windows.
- An industrial park operator can plan employee shuttle routes and adjust them as demand changes.
4. Benefits
- Generates routes for hundreds of stops in seconds from an Excel upload, cutting daily manual planning.
- Optimal dispatch proposes how many vehicles are needed for the day's volume, reducing idle or overloaded trucks.
- Automatic arrival notices and live location sharing reduce repeated customer calls about delivery status.
- Pay-as-you-go pricing with no monthly fee and no per-vehicle charge lowers the cost of trying the system.
5. Market trends & opportunities
Food distributors, franchise chains and regional delivery companies across Asia are moving from spreadsheet dispatch to affordable cloud TMS with driver apps and customer notifications. In Vietnam, ingredient suppliers to restaurant chains, fresh food distributors and companies running staff shuttles face the same daily routing workload and need low-cost, usage-based tools.
6. Other information
Fleetune is located in Suji-gu, Yongin, South Korea. It has supplied route optimization to Kyochon F&B, SOCAR, Kyungil Logistics and Asung Solution, and won the grand prize at the Chung Ju-yung startup competition and a top award in a Daejeon innovation centre social impact programme. It runs English sites for Singapore, the US and Australia.
