1. Technology overview
Quicktron Robotics was founded in 2014 and is headquartered in Shanghai, China. It builds autonomous mobile robots and software for warehouse and factory intralogistics, and reports more than 1,000 clients, over 45,000 AMR installations and operations in more than 20 countries, serving e-commerce, apparel, automotive, healthcare and 3PL customers.
Its portfolio covers bin-to-person, shelf-to-person and pallet-to-person picking plus material handling, built from the M, C, F and A robot series. The flagship QuickBin Ultra pairs M5E double-layer bin movers on the floor with A5 rack-mounted lifts that reach 3 to 12 m, so several robots share narrow 860 mm aisles while totes are brought to picking stations. A mixed workstation handles containers, racks and pallets together, and Quicktron software coordinates the fleet.
2. Highlighted features & specifications
- M5E bin mover: double-layer robot travelling up to 4.5 m/s that carries totes to stations.
- A5 lift: rack-mounted picker that retrieves totes from 3 to 12 m without blocking floor paths.
- Flexible handling: hook, gripper or fork attachments for totes up to 850 x 650 x 400 mm.
- Multi-depth storage: single, double or multi-depth racking with minimal spacing between totes.
- Mixed workstation: one station for hybrid picking of containers, racks and pallets.
- Broader portfolio: shelf-to-person, pallet-to-person and material handling AMRs under one software layer.
3. Potential application
An e-commerce fulfilment centre near Ho Chi Minh City can use QuickBin Ultra to multiply storage in a rented building with limited floor area. A pharmaceutical distributor can run bin-to-person picking for high-SKU orders to pharmacies. An apparel or footwear brand can automate piece picking for online and store replenishment orders.
4. Benefits
QuickBin Ultra reaches 40–45 bins per hour per station for piece picking and up to 200 pick-and-place actions per hour. Narrow 860 mm aisles, rack heights up to 12 m and multi-depth storage raise storage density in space-constrained buildings. Robots run up to 12 hours per charge with charging in 1.5 hours or less, supporting long shifts and peak seasons.
5. Market trends & opportunities
Rising land costs near cities and fast growth of e-commerce, pharmaceuticals and fashion retail push warehouses to store more in less space and pick faster. Goods-to-person robots that can be installed in existing buildings are spreading across Asia, and Quicktron already runs subsidiaries in Singapore and Bangkok to serve Southeast Asia.
6. Other information
