1. Technology overview
LOGILESS Inc. is a Japanese software company whose service launched in 2017. It addresses the manual work between online shops and warehouses, where orders, stock and shipping instructions are often passed by spreadsheets and staff. The company provides software only and does not run warehouses.
LOGILESS integrates an order management system and a warehouse management system so that e-commerce merchants and warehouse operators share one platform. Orders sync to the warehouse automatically, conditional rules handle gifts, special packaging and channel-specific instructions, and multi-warehouse routing splits orders by buyer location or temperature zone. It connects to Rakuten, Amazon, Yahoo! Shopping, TikTok Shop, Temu, Shopify and major Japanese carriers. About 1,800 companies use it, including Suntory, NTT and BASE FOOD.
2. Highlighted features & specifications
- Automatic order-to-shipment flow: orders pass from shops to the warehouse without manual steps.
- Conditional shipping rules: bonus items, special packaging and channel-specific instructions.
- Multi-warehouse routing: allocation by buyer location and splitting by temperature zone.
- Inventory categories: reserves stock for e-commerce or wholesale without extra SKUs.
- Carrier and label integration: Yamato, Sagawa, Japan Post and Seino label issuing.
- Automation links: API, CSV, POS integration and connection to the ROMS Nano-Stream automated warehouse.
3. Potential application
- A Vietnamese food brand selling online can route chilled and ambient items to different warehouses automatically.
- A fulfilment warehouse serving many shops can receive orders and shipping rules directly from clients.
- A brand selling both online and wholesale can reserve stock by channel in one system.
4. Benefits
- More than 90% of orders can be shipped automatically without manual handling.
- BASE FOOD reports shipping cost savings of over 10 million yen a year after automating multi-site shipping.
- Stock and order sync with major marketplaces runs as often as every 5 minutes, reducing overselling.
- Free initial setup and a one-month free test account lower the cost of evaluation.
5. Market trends & opportunities
Labour shortages in Japanese logistics push online merchants and warehouse operators to automate order handling and connect warehouse robotics. As Vietnamese brands sell across Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop and outsource fulfilment, the same need appears for systems that link shops and warehouses with little manual work.
