Co-founded by CEO Rich Sorkin and Chief Science Officer Josh Hacker, formerly of NCAR, it aims to give banks, insurers, asset managers and operators decision-grade physical risk data rather than disclosure-only scores.

Its ClimateScore Global platform runs de-biased, downscaled global climate models with compound peril modelling, offering 22k+ metrics per location across 22.3 billion locations worldwide, three scenarios in five-year steps to 2100.
