1. Technology overview
Allxon Inc. was established in Taiwan in September 2019 and is based in New Taipei City. It provides remote management for edge AI devices such as NVIDIA Jetson and x86 industrial PCs deployed in unmanned or remote sites, so that system integrators and software vendors can keep fleets running without sending engineers on site.
The platform combines in-band device management with out-of-band (OOB) control, acting like a baseboard management controller for edge devices. Plug-in OOB Enabler modules or on-board designs provide remote power actions, a cloud serial console for boot messages and BIOS, sensor extensions and connectivity over Ethernet, Wi-Fi or 4G LTE, even when the main network or operating system is down. The cloud portal handles updates, configuration backup and provisioning, while ResiLink, launched in 2026, brings the same capabilities on-premises for air-gapped plants with sealed local OTA updates. Hardware partners include Advantech, AAEON, ADLINK, Aetina and Premio.
2. Highlighted features & specifications
- Power actions: remote power on and off, enforced shutdown and scheduling.
- Cloud serial console: remote access to boot messages, BIOS or UEFI settings and logs.
- OOB Enabler modules: plug-and-play hardware that adds out-of-band control to edge devices.
- Cloud management portal: updates, configuration backup and restore, and provisioning.
- ResiLink on-premises: local management for air-gapped networks with SHA-256 verified OTA packages.
- Extensions and connectivity: external sensors for temperature or tamper detection over Ethernet, Wi-Fi or 4G LTE.
3. Potential application
A Vietnamese system integrator running AI cameras at hundreds of retail stores can reboot and update devices remotely. An electronics or semiconductor plant in Vietnam can manage edge AI inspection PCs on an isolated network with ResiLink. A digital signage or kiosk operator can troubleshoot screens in remote provinces through the serial console instead of sending technicians.
4. Benefits
Recovers frozen or offline devices remotely through a separate management channel, avoiding emergency field dispatches that Allxon puts at more than 2,500 USD per incident on average. Works across brands and both x86 and Arm hardware, so mixed fleets share one console. The Rust-based ResiLink agent is reported to cut agent-level crashes by 70%. A free trial covers up to three devices.
5. Market trends & opportunities
Edge AI boxes are now spread across retail stores, vending machines, factories and roadsides, and each site visit to reboot a frozen device erodes project margins. Semiconductor fabs, hospitals and other secured sites also run air-gapped networks that cloud tools cannot reach. Southeast Asian integrators deploying Jetson-based video analytics at scale need reliable remote recovery.
6. Other information
Established in Taiwan in September 2019, with its registered address in New Taipei City. Became a preferred partner of the NVIDIA Jetson ecosystem in 2020, launched OOB Enabler products from 2021, reported users in more than 60 countries by 2023 and introduced a cloud serial console in 2024. Expanded into the Middle East with Amplicon in 2025.
