1. Technology overview
Vaidio, formerly IronYun, is a video analytics software company headquartered in Stamford, Connecticut. It rebranded in March 2025 and serves government, transit, healthcare, education, retail, manufacturing and hospitality operators that need to turn large camera networks into searchable, actionable data without replacing cameras.
The Vaidio AI Vision Platform runs 21 AI engines and more than 1,000 analytics applications on existing cameras, covering intrusion, crowd and object detection, license plate recognition and natural-language forensic search across many streams. A camera auto-configuration agent uses vision language models to recommend analytics for each scene, and version 10.0 adds Vaidio Vista for VLM-based verification of alerts, recorded video analysis and a multi-node Command Center. It deploys on-premise, at the edge, in the cloud or in hybrid setups. Logos shown include JFK, USPS, ABB, UMC, Formosa Plastic, Petronas and Thai Airways.
2. Highlighted features & specifications
- AI engines: 21 engines and 1,000+ analytics applications for people, vehicles and objects.
- Forensic search: natural-language and attribute search across live and recorded video.
- Camera auto-configuration: VLM agent recommends analytics and sets regions of interest.
- Vaidio Vista: VLM-based verification of alerts to cut false positives.
- Command Center: cross-camera search, live view and status across multi-node deployments.
- Flexible deployment: on-premise, edge, cloud or hybrid on NVIDIA GPUs.
3. Potential application
Airports and seaports in Vietnam can search footage across terminals by description to locate people or vehicles quickly. Industrial park operators and factories can apply intrusion, crowd and PPE analytics on existing CCTV. Urban traffic centers can switch cameras between traffic monitoring and license plate recognition by time of day.
4. Benefits
Works with existing cameras with no camera upgrades required. Forensic search returns results across many streams in under 2 seconds. Version 10.0 improves video processing efficiency by up to 3 times per GPU, and VLM-based verification reduces false positive alerts. Analytics can be switched on the same camera, for example intrusion detection by day and license plate recognition at night.
5. Market trends & opportunities
Video analytics is shifting from fixed rule-based detectors to vision language models that can be configured by prompt and can explain or verify alerts. Airports, ports, industrial estates and cities in Southeast Asia operate thousands of cameras and need search and alert verification to make that footage usable without adding monitoring staff.
6. Other information
