LiveEO TradeAware EUDR Compliance Software

LiveEO was founded in 2018 in Berlin and turns satellite data into AI-based insights for utilities, oil and gas operators and commodity buyers. TradeAware addresses the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR), which requires importers of commodities such as wood, rubber or coffee to prove that their sourcing plots are deforestation-free and legal.

The software combines satellite-AI deforestation and degradation detection at an effective 5 m resolution with legality reviews by local experts in more than 80 countries. Suppliers are onboarded through a free supplier client and questionnaires, data flows to ERP and procurement systems through an API, and Due Diligence Statements are created and submitted to the EU TRACES system. Users include manufacturers, retailers and natural rubber processors in Thailand and Indonesia.

EUDR applies to cattle, cocoa, coffee, oil palm, rubber, soy and wood products placed on the EU market. Southeast Asian exporters of coffee, rubber, timber and palm oil, including many Vietnamese firms, need plot-level geolocation and deforestation evidence to keep selling to European buyers, which drives demand for satellite-based due diligence tools.
