1. Technology overview
PEAK is a Thai cloud accounting program for SMEs, developed by the fintech PUUN Intelligent and sold under Peakaccount Co., Ltd. It aims to replace manual, paper-based bookkeeping for small businesses and their accounting firms with an online system that also meets Thai tax document requirements.
The platform issues quotations, invoices, billing notes, receipts and tax invoices on paper or as e-Tax Invoice and e-Receipt, then posts journals, ledgers, trial balance and financial statements automatically. Add-on modules cover PEAK Payroll with tax and social security, PEAK Tax, PEAK Asset for depreciation, real-time inventory, PEAK Board analytics and a LINE connector. A document store with an auto-keying assistant and automatic bank reconciliation reduce data entry. PEAK reports 30,000 companies and 1,800 accounting offices as users, processing 8 million documents per month.
2. Highlighted features & specifications
- Sales and tax documents: Quotations, invoices, receipts and tax invoices, including e-Tax Invoice and e-Receipt.
- Automatic bookkeeping: Journals, general ledger, trial balance and financial statements generated from documents.
- Document store and auto-keying: Upload source documents with an assistant that fills entries automatically.
- Bank reconciliation: Automatic matching of bank statements on PRO plans and above.
- Payroll, tax and assets: PEAK Payroll, PEAK Tax and PEAK Asset modules post directly to the books.
- Integrations: Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, ZORT, POS, ERP and custom APIs, plus a LINE connector.
3. Potential application
Vietnamese companies with a Thai subsidiary or branch can keep Thai-compliant books and e-Tax Invoices on PEAK. Vietnamese e-commerce sellers expanding to Thailand via Shopee, Lazada or TikTok Shop can sync channel sales into accounting, and Vietnamese banks or software firms can study PEAK's lender partnership model.
4. Benefits
PEAK states that customers cut working time by up to 50% through automated document posting and reconciliation. Business owners and their external accountants work on the same cloud data, reducing back-and-forth of paper documents. Plans range from a free freelance tier to THB 3,500 per month, with a 30-day full trial, and connections to Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop sync online sales.
5. Market trends & opportunities
Thailand and Vietnam are both pushing e-tax invoices and digital bookkeeping among SMEs, while banks increasingly lend against accounting data instead of collateral, as shown by PEAK's partnership with UOB Thailand. Cloud accounting that links e-commerce sales, tax documents and lenders fits this shift across mainland Southeast Asia.
