PresScribe AI Medical Scribe

Looloo Health is the medical AI unit of Looloo Technology, a Bangkok AI company based at the KX Knowledge Exchange building in Khlong San that also builds the WordSense speech-to-text engine. PresScribe was developed with the Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital and Microsoft to cut the paperwork that takes doctors' time away from patients.

A doctor starts a recording and talks with the patient as usual; PresScribe then summarises the conversation into a structured medical record for the doctor to review. It suggests ICD-10 and SNOMED CT codes, works across devices and sends notes to the hospital information system by copy and paste or API. Named HIS partners are HOSxP and MEDCURY. Customers are public and private hospitals in Thailand.

Vietnamese HIS vendors could partner to adapt the scribe for Vietnamese consultations and embed it via API. Outpatient departments in busy provincial hospitals could pilot it to shorten documentation per visit. Hospital coding teams could use ICD-10 suggestions to improve health insurance claim accuracy.

The company states PresScribe saves 40% of documentation time per case, giving doctors more time with patients. Automatic ICD-10 and SNOMED CT suggestions support coding accuracy for claims and statistics. It has been used in over 30,000 cases at more than 40 hospitals in Thailand. ISO 27001, ISO 13485 and PDPA compliance address hospital data protection requirements.

Ambient AI scribes are one of the fastest-growing hospital AI categories as clinicians face heavy documentation loads and staff shortages. In Southeast Asia, adoption depends on models that understand local languages and plug into the HIS products already used by public and private hospitals.
