1. Technology overview
ExaWizards Inc. was founded in February 2016 and is headquartered in Shibaura, Minato-ku, Tokyo. It develops AI services for industrial innovation and social issues, and by March 2025 its group generative AI offerings had supported more than 1,800 companies, with over 400 AI consulting projects a year.
exaBase Generative AI is a secure enterprise workspace giving staff access to GPT, Gemini and Claude in domestic regions, with RAG over internal PowerPoint, Word, PDF and CSV files, banned-word and confidential-data blocking and log reporting. Its Agent Collection adds ready agents for slides, minutes and legal research. exaBase Studio lets companies build their own agents: an Orchestrator breaks down vague requests into plans and assigns self-verifying worker agents, with a Data Agent connecting Salesforce CRM.
2. Highlighted features & specifications
- Multi-model workspace: GPT, Gemini and Claude in domestic regions with training opt-out.
- Internal RAG: answers grounded in company PowerPoint, Word, PDF, CSV and text files.
- Agent Collection: slide deck, minutes, legal research and AI-utilisation proposal agents.
- exaBase Studio Orchestrator: decomposes vague requests and recommends worker agents.
- Data Agent: prepares business data, starting with Salesforce CRM.
- Governance: banned-word rules, confidential data blocking, role-based permissions and log reports.
3. Potential application
A Japanese-invested manufacturer in Vietnam can give office staff a governed AI workspace with minutes and slide agents. A provincial department can use legal research agents limited to official legal sources. A sales organisation can build Studio agents on Salesforce data to analyse budget gaps and pipeline.
4. Benefits
Lets staff use several frontier models in one governed workspace instead of unmanaged consumer tools. Ready-made agents automate slide decks, meeting minutes and legal research out of the box. The government edition is used by 25 prefectural governments and more than 200 agencies, showing fit for strict security environments. Studio lets companies build agents that improve through staff feedback.
5. Market trends & opportunities
Enterprises and public agencies are moving from ad-hoc chatbot use to governed AI workspaces with task-specific agents. Japanese manufacturers and service firms with operations in Vietnam and Southeast Asia increasingly standardise such platforms across subsidiaries, and Vietnamese agencies pursuing digital government face similar needs for secure generative AI.
6. Other information
ExaWizards holds ISMS (ISO 27001), ISMS-CLS (ISO 27017) and ISMS-PIMS (ISO 27701). Its group company Exa Enterprise AI Inc. was established in October 2023. In January 2026 it was contracted by Japan's Digital Agency for generative AI training materials, and in 2026 it began joint AI agent development with Sumitomo Wiring Systems. exaBase Studio SaaS starts at 2.5 million JPY per month.
