Cytron IRIV Industrial Edge Controllers & Maker Boards

Cytron Technologies is an electronics company founded in 2004 in Penang, Malaysia, by a team that met while building robots for ROBOCON Malaysia. It designs and manufactures its own boards and modules in Penang, with more than 100 products including motor drivers, robot controllers, sensors, shields and HATs, and it operates storefronts for Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. In Vietnam it trades through Công ty TNHH Cytron Việt Nam, registered in Da Nang in 2022.

For industry, Cytron's IRIV line packages Raspberry Pi Compute Modules into fanless, DIN-rail metal edge controllers. IRIV PiControl offers isolated digital and analogue I/O, isolated RS232 and RS485, dual Ethernet, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, a crypto authentication chip and an optional 4G or LoRa module, while IRIV SmartHub CM5 targets 24/7 edge computing and smart infrastructure. For education and prototyping, the Maker series covers Arduino-compatible Maker UNO boards, Maker Pi Pico, Maker Feather AIoT S3 based on ESP32 and micro:bit kits, supported by teacher and student programmes.
