Vaisala viewLinc Continuous Monitoring System

Vaisala is a measurement instruments company with almost 90 years of experience and more than 2,300 employees, listed on Nasdaq Helsinki. Its viewLinc Continuous Monitoring System is an environmental monitoring solution for GxP-regulated and other environments, covering temperature, humidity, CO2 and differential pressure.

viewLinc runs on-premises as an Enterprise Server or as the subscription-based viewLinc Cloud Suite, announced in September 2024. On-site loggers send encrypted data over the VaiNet wireless protocol to the cloud, with real-time alarms, trend analysis, audit trails and reporting.

Cloud option removes the need for local IT infrastructure and Vaisala handles updates. Data is recorded redundantly and encrypted at rest, in the logger and in transit. Audit trail, multi-factor authentication and role-based rights support compliance. Scales from a single fridge to thousands of sensors.

Life science and pharmaceutical facilities are moving from on-premise monitoring servers to validated SaaS. Vietnam's growing pharmaceutical storage and distribution sector faces GDP expectations that require continuous, auditable temperature records.
