ICO150 DIN-rail IoT Gateway

Axiomtek develops and manufactures industrial computer products with a focus on AIoT, offering hardware and software packages plus engineering and value-added services for system integrators, OEM and ODM customers. Its headquarters is at Xizhi District, New Taipei City, Taiwan.

The ICO150 is an ultra-compact fanless DIN-rail IoT gateway built on a quad-core Intel Atom x7433RE processor. It has dual 2.5GbE LAN with TSN support, four COM ports, four USB ports, expansion for 4G LTE, Wi-Fi and NVMe, and works with the AXView 4.0 centralized device management on a ThingsBoard-based dashboard.

Data collection from legacy machines on Vietnamese factory floors over serial and Ethernet. Condition monitoring in agriculture facilities such as greenhouses and cold storage. Edge gateway for smart building and energy management cabinets.

Operating range of -40 to +70 C suits unconditioned cabinets and outdoor enclosures. DIN-rail mounting and a 4.8 x 11 x 15 cm body save cabinet space. Wide 9 to 36 VDC input with over-voltage, under-voltage and over-current protection supports unstable power. Centralized device management through AXView 4.0 reduces maintenance trips.

Factories, farms and smart buildings are adding condition monitoring and data collection at the machine level, which favors small DIN-rail gateways with industrial networking. Vietnamese plants retrofitting older equipment for Industry 4.0 need such rugged gateways to bridge serial devices to IP networks.
