Ovarro EnigmaREACH

Ovarro supplies monitoring, control, analytics and telemetry products for water and other critical assets, with offices in the UK, Belgium, France, the Netherlands, the UAE and Malaysia. Its site shows Ametek branding after Ametek completed the acquisition of Indicor's Water & Infrastructure Group. The company opened a new Asia Pacific headquarters in Selangor, Malaysia in August 2025.

EnigmaREACH is an all-in-one active leak detection kit with 32 or 64 Enigma acoustic loggers, a tablet, a deployment app and the Atrium analytics platform. Loggers are placed across a network, the system correlates their data automatically and raises points of interest that technicians follow up with a ground microphone.

Leak sweeps inside DMAs of provincial water companies in Vietnam with high night flow. Rapid deployment on trunk mains after bursts. Pre-screening of urban networks before ground-microphone crews are dispatched.

In UK trials with five water companies, follow-up time in one DMA fell from three days to about 1.5 days and manual analysis shifted from up to three hours to minutes. Logger spacing of 150 to 275 m widened coverage versus 75 to 100 m before. Each overnight deployment of up to 32 loggers found five to six leaks. These figures are vendor-reported.

Utilities look for ways to find leaks faster with smaller field teams. Ovarro now has a regional hub in Malaysia, which brings support closer to Southeast Asian utilities. Vietnamese water companies that have formed DMAs can use acoustic correlation to locate leaks within them.
