Orchard FruitScope Vision and OS

Orchard, legally Orchard Robotics Inc., is a California-based company founded in 2022 that describes itself as the AI farming company. It targets tree-fruit and vine growers who lack per-tree data on yield, fruit size and crop load.

FruitScope Vision is a camera mounted on tractors, ATVs or other farm vehicles that scans rows at 1-12 mph. FruitScope OS turns the images into per-tree maps, yield and size estimates and harvest plans, and Canary AI is an assistant for farm decisions. Customers are large apple, grape and other orchard operations in the US.

Orchards face labor shortages and rising input costs, which pushes demand for tree-level data to target spraying, thinning and harvest crews. In Southeast Asia, durian, mango and citrus orchards are professionalizing, creating future demand for similar vision-based monitoring.
