1. Technology overview
Malanta is a Tel Aviv-based cybersecurity company founded in July 2024 by former CyberArk employees. It emerged from stealth in November 2025 with a US$10 million seed round led by Cardumen Capital, with The Group Ventures participating. It focuses on stopping attacks before they are launched.
The platform collects and analyses the traces attackers leave while preparing campaigns, such as domains, command-and-control servers and phishing kits, and forecasts when that infrastructure will be used. It correlates hostile infrastructure with a customer's digital footprint, feeds validated intelligence into a SOC, and works with registrars and safe-browsing services to take assets down.
2. Highlighted features & specifications
- Pre-Attack Intelligence: maps attacker domains, C2 servers and staging assets in real time.
- Imminent threat correlation: traces hostile infrastructure back to the customer's digital footprint.
- Indicators of Pre-Attack: signals such as adversary infrastructure and phishing kits.
- Takedown: disrupts malicious assets before attacks launch.
- SOC feed: sends validated, enriched intelligence into a SOC.
- Exposure mapping: maps the customer's digital footprint against threats.
3. Potential application
A Vietnamese bank could detect lookalike domains and phishing kits aimed at its customers before campaigns start. An insurer or e-commerce platform could feed pre-attack intelligence into its SOC. A brand-protection team could request takedowns earlier.
4. Benefits
Detects attacker preparation before an attack reaches the organisation. Links hostile infrastructure to the customer's own digital footprint, showing what is targeted. Delivers validated, enriched intelligence into the SOC. Supports takedown of malicious assets before they are weaponised.
5. Market trends & opportunities
AI lowers the cost of building phishing and fraud infrastructure, so defenders look for signals earlier in the attack chain. Banks, insurers and e-commerce firms in Vietnam face brand-impersonation and phishing campaigns that this approach targets.
6. Other information
