1. Technology overview
Unleashed Software was founded in Auckland, New Zealand, in 2009 and has offices in Australia and the United Kingdom. It was acquired by the UK-based Access Group in November 2020 and keeps its own brand, serving more than 5,500 small and mid-sized product businesses.
Unleashed is cloud inventory management software for manufacturers, wholesalers and distributors. Its batch tracking feature assigns batch numbers and expiry dates when goods are received, produced or adjusted, traces batches forward to customers and backward to suppliers, and provides batch enquiry reports for recalls and audits. FEFO allocation picks the earliest-expiring stock first, and the system connects to Xero, QuickBooks, Shopify, Amazon and eBay.
