1. Technology overview
HiTHIUM is an energy storage company founded in 2019 and headquartered in Xiamen, China, focused solely on stationary storage from battery materials and cells to complete systems. It serves utility, commercial and industrial, residential and off-grid customers in more than 40 countries and regions.
For C&I users, the ∞Power 1022 kWh liquid-cooled cabinet uses 1175 Ah cells to cut cell count by 70% on a 3.4 square metre footprint, while ∞Block 418 kWh and 261 kWh cabinets use 314 Ah LFP cells. Utility systems include the 6.25 MWh container line for long-duration storage. Manufacturing bases in Xiamen, Chongqing, Heze and Texas, plus a planned plant in Spain, support supply, and the company is also developing sodium-ion storage.
2. Highlighted features & specifications
- ∞Power 1022 kWh: liquid-cooled C&I cabinet with 1175 Ah cells and 1000 V DC system.
- ∞Block 418 kWh: 1P416S liquid-cooled cabinet using 314 Ah LFP cells.
- ∞Block 261 kWh: compact 1P52S cabinet for smaller commercial sites.
- Utility containers: 6.25 MWh long-duration storage systems.
- Cluster-independent design: fire insulation between battery clusters.
- Communications: CAN, RS485 and Ethernet BMS interfaces.
3. Potential application
Factories in Vietnamese industrial parks could install ∞Power cabinets to shift solar energy into evening peaks and cut demand charges. Utility-scale solar and wind developers could use 6.25 MWh containers to meet storage obligations. Commercial buildings could use ∞Block cabinets for backup and arbitrage.
4. Benefits
C&I users can optimise energy management, reduce costs and capture arbitrage while gaining backup power. Large-format 1175 Ah cells reduce component count and land use per MWh. Vertical integration from materials to systems supports supply security, and the Chongqing base was recognised in January 2026 as the first Lighthouse Factory for storage batteries.
5. Market trends & opportunities
Falling LFP prices and larger cells are lowering the cost of storage, making C&I batteries viable for arbitrage and backup. Southeast Asian markets including Vietnam are adding storage targets and self-consumption solar rules, while buyers increasingly ask for long-duration and sodium-ion options.
6. Other information
Founded in 2019, headquartered in Xiamen, Fujian. Shipments passed 200 GWh in October 2026. Holds an EcoVadis Gold Medal (score 84). Projects include a 421 MWh BESS for GPG's Fraser Coast project in Australia and a planned battery plant in Navarre, Spain.
