1. Technology overview

Pablo Air is a South Korean swarm-AI aviation company founded in 2018 and headquartered in Incheon, with R&D centres in Daejeon and Gwangmyeong, factories in Incheon, Gimpo and Changwon, and a US office in Torrance, California. Its core technology is swarm coordination, in which multiple drones share information and divide tasks, applied to drone delivery, drone light shows, inspection and defence.

Its airspace software line covers the full low-altitude operation cycle. L-FOMS plans flights from stored personnel, aircraft and route data, runs automatic risk checks, handles internal approval, and logs every flight with pilot and aircraft hours and a statistics dashboard. L-ORAS assesses 38 hazards based on FAA safety risk management and calculates ground and air risk classes with the EASA SORA method. UrbanLinkX is an AI traffic management platform for urban air mobility that automates scheduling, rerouting and emergency handling.

2. Highlighted features & specifications

  • L-FOMS flight planning: builds plans from saved personnel, aircraft and route data with automatic risk checks.
  • Flight authorization: built-in workflow for reviewing and approving planned flights.
  • Automatic logs: flight records, anomalies and hours tracked per pilot and per aircraft, with a statistics dashboard.
  • L-ORAS risk assessment: 38 FAA SRM-based hazards and SORA ground and air risk classes with a one-page report.
  • UrbanLinkX: AI traffic management for UAM with scheduling, dynamic rerouting, weather forecasting and emergency protocols.
  • Swarm Intelligence SW: software for coordinating many drones that share data and divide tasks.

3. Potential application

  • Drone service companies standardising flight plans, approvals and pilot logs to prepare permit dossiers for authorities.
  • Drone delivery pilots in industrial parks running SORA-based risk assessments for each new route.
  • Smart city and UAM planners simulating urban air routes and emergency procedures before opening corridors.

4. Benefits

  • One system replaces paper flight plans, approvals and logbooks, giving managers full records of pilots, aircraft and flight hours.
  • Automated SORA-based risk scoring and a one-page risk summary speed up permit applications for BVLOS and delivery flights.
  • UrbanLinkX automates traffic control tasks such as rerouting and emergency protocols, and won a CES 2024 Innovation Award in the Smart City category.
  • Software comes from an operator that has run real drone delivery and swarm shows, so procedures reflect field practice.

6. Other information

Founded in 2018; head office in Incheon, South Korea, with a US office in Torrance, California. Acquired precision manufacturer VOLK in August 2025; strategic investors reported on the site include Korean Air and LIG Nex1. UrbanLinkX won a CES 2024 Innovation Award (Smart City); launched the Team Pablo sovereign drone project with 11 partners in 2026.
