1. Technology overview
Kadence sells AI workplace management software for corporate real estate teams; its CEO and co-founder is Dan Bladen and it lists US and UK contact numbers. In July 2025 it raised a 20 million USD Series A led by High Alpha to expand its AI roadmap, and it reports more than 10,000 teams in 40+ countries using the product.
The platform has two parts. SpaceOps, launched in October 2025, gives workplace leaders stack and restack planning, move management, occupancy modelling, scenario planning and workplace analytics. WorkOps serves employees with desk, room and visitor booking, team coordination and presence data synced from directories and calendars. Kadence AI acts as a concierge inside Microsoft Teams and Slack and connects to AI assistants through MCP. Customers include universities, banks, law firms and public bodies.
2. Highlighted features & specifications
- Stack and restack planning: Model floor allocations and consolidation scenarios.
- Move management: Plan moves with go-live dates and track execution.
- Occupancy modelling and analytics: Combine bookings, presence and badge data to measure use.
- WorkOps booking: Desk, room and visitor booking with team coordination.
- AI visitor management: AI-driven visitor handling launched in January 2026.
- Kadence AI and MCP: Concierge in Teams and Slack and connection to external AI agents.
3. Potential application
A bank in Hanoi can model consolidating two headquarters buildings and plan staged moves. A multinational in Ho Chi Minh City can let staff book desks through Teams. A university can analyse classroom and meeting room use across several campuses.
4. Benefits
Workplace leaders can model consolidation scenarios and see the impact on space and cost before committing to moves. Published customer results include Karger with an 80% smaller footprint, Softchoice with 55% less office space and the University of Exeter raising meeting room use from 20% to 38% across 14 buildings. Employees book desks or rooms by simply asking the AI concierge in Teams or Slack.
5. Market trends & opportunities
Corporate real estate teams are under pressure to shrink portfolios while proving the office supports collaboration, and they increasingly expect planning tools driven by real occupancy data and AI. Multinationals and large domestic groups in Vietnam reorganising headquarters face the same need for scenario planning.
