9Pay All-in-one Payment Gateway

9Pay JSC is a Hanoi-based payment intermediary licensed by the State Bank of Vietnam (licence 60/GP-NHNN), with an additional licence to receive and pay out foreign currency. It serves domestic businesses and around 1,000 international companies that need to collect and pay money in Vietnam across online, in-store and cross-border channels.

The all-in-one platform combines a payment gateway, collection and disbursement services and real-time reconciliation. It accepts QR, bank transfers, domestic and international cards and e-wallets, and adds payment links, installments, 9PayPOS terminals and TingTing sound boxes. Built on cloud microservices with an API-first design, it handles more than 5,000 transactions per second with smart routing and webhooks. VietQR Global lets foreign visitors pay by scanning with about 200 bank and wallet apps from markets such as China, South Korea and Thailand, while merchants receive VND.

A hotel, restaurant or attraction in Da Nang or Phu Quoc can accept QR payments from Chinese, Korean and Thai visitors. An international platform can collect from Vietnamese users and pay local partners through collection and disbursement. An e-commerce site can integrate the gateway via WooCommerce or Magento.

Merchants manage collection, disbursement and reconciliation in one system instead of several providers. The platform processed more than 240 million successful transactions in 2025 with a reported 99.95% success rate. Tourism and retail merchants can accept QR payments from foreign visitors and still receive VND, and PCI DSS Level 1 and ISO 27001 compliance supports enterprise security requirements.

Vietnam's international tourism recovery and the linking of national QR systems across ASEAN and Northeast Asia are creating demand for cross-border QR acceptance.
