API7.ai is an open-source infrastructure company, and its privacy policy names APISEVEN PTE. LTD as the entity based in Singapore. It was built by the original creators of Apache APISIX and addresses API management and AI traffic control.
API7 Enterprise is the commercial gateway built on Apache APISIX, with a developer portal and plugins for authentication, rate limiting and observability. The AISIX AI gateway is open source, written in Rust, and exposes one OpenAI-compatible API with semantic routing, failover, token rate limiting, guardrails and an MCP gateway. Self-hosting or a managed AISIX Cloud control plane is available.
