Beca Smart Industrial Park and City Platform (IOC)

Vietnam Technology and Telecommunication JSC (VNTT, ticker TTN) was established with capital from Becamex IDC and VNPT and is headquartered at WTC Tower in the Binh Duong area of Ho Chi Minh City. Beyond telecom, data centre and IT services, it builds smart management systems for the industrial parks and urban areas developed by Becamex IDC, including the Binh Duong IOC and IOC Becamex operations centres.

Beca Smart, developed by Becamex IDC and VNTT, is a single platform built on IoT, big data and AI with centralised IOC operation. Modules cover smart buildings (power, water, HVAC and fire safety), AI face recognition and access control, smart parking with plate recognition and guidance, water and wastewater monitoring, environmental sensors, energy management, LoRa-connected street lighting that dims with traffic, AI traffic cameras and smart factory data. It is the core of the Binh Duong smart city project and is deployed in several key industrial parks.

An industrial park developer can run lighting, parking, wastewater and security from one IOC. A provincial or district authority can build an urban operations centre that combines traffic cameras, lighting and environmental sensors. Large office or mixed-use complexes can connect BMS, parking and access control.

Authorities and industrial park operators monitor buildings, utilities, traffic, lighting and security on one platform instead of separate systems. Street lighting switches and dims remotely based on traffic density to save power. AI cameras count vehicles to spot congestion and read plates to flag violations, and the platform is designed to be flexible and easy to extend with new modules.

Vietnamese provinces and industrial park developers are building intelligent operations centres to manage infrastructure, traffic and environment data in one place. Foreign investors increasingly expect smart, green industrial parks with digital monitoring of utilities and emissions.
