Black Lake Technologies is a Shanghai-based industrial software company that has spent about a decade building production management software for factories of all sizes. It says it has served more than 40,000 factories and 2 million users in over 30 industries, with close to 1,000 employees. Through a Singapore regional headquarters it serves more than 10 overseas countries, including Indonesia, Vietnam and Mexico.

The platform combines a manufacturing data foundation, an industrial knowledge engine and AI agents. Black Lake Go targets small and micro factories with simple work orders, while Black Lake Flow covers planning and scheduling, manufacturing execution, process management, quality, inventory, equipment maintenance and analytics for mid-sized to large and multi-plant manufacturers. AI agents read drawings to plan process routes, generate quotations, schedule orders and flag delivery risks.

A CNC machining job shop in Vietnam can turn customer drawings into process routes and quotes in minutes. A component supplier can schedule urgent orders around bottleneck machines and track work orders on mobile. A Chinese-invested factory in an industrial park can use the same system as its parent plant.

Results published on the site include 25% higher capacity utilisation through AI scheduling of bottleneck processes, 41% less capital tied up in inventory through demand-based material preparation, and 8% higher order gross margin with AI quotations generated in about 5 minutes. Supply chain flexibility allows new products to reach batch delivery in as little as 2 weeks.

As Chinese manufacturers and their suppliers move capacity to Vietnam, Indonesia and other ASEAN countries, they look for the same low-cost production management tools used at home. AI agents for quoting, process planning and scheduling address the high-mix, short-lead-time orders typical of job shops and component suppliers in the region.
