1. Technology overview
Botsync is a Singapore company, led by co-founder and CEO Rahul Nambiar, that builds heavy-duty autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) and SyncOS, a no-code, vendor-agnostic orchestration platform for intralogistics. It serves warehouses and factories in FMCG, food and beverage, automotive, heavy machinery and distribution across Asia, Australia and the United States.
The MAG AMR family moves pallets, cages, trolleys and custom loads with payloads from 300 kg to 2,200 kg, including the MAG600 and MAG1500 Lifter, MAG1500 single and dual conveyor robots, MAG1400 Fork, MAG1500 counterbalance Fork AMR and MAG1500 AGV Tugger. SyncOS Fleet Manager allocates tasks and manages traffic across multi-vendor AMR and AGV fleets, while SyncOS Integrator connects robots, conveyors, AS/RS and business systems such as WMS, MES and ERP through APIs, PLCs, Modbus, HTTP and TCP.
2. Highlighted features & specifications
- MAG Lifter: AMRs that lift and carry pallets and racks, up to 1,500 kg on the MAG1500.
- Conveyor AMRs: single and dual conveyor robots for line-to-line transfers.
- Fork AMRs: MAG1400 Fork and counterbalance MAG1500 for pallet stacking and loading.
- AGV Tugger: magnetic-tape tugger with LiDAR and bumpers for towing trolleys.
- SyncOS Fleet Manager: task allocation and traffic management for multi-vendor fleets.
- SyncOS Integrator: no-code workflows linking robots to WMS, MES, ERP, conveyors and AS/RS.
3. Potential application
An FMCG or beverage plant in Binh Duong can automate pallet moves from end-of-line to warehouse with MAG Lifter and Fork AMRs. An automotive parts factory can tow trolleys to assembly lines with the AGV Tugger. A logistics operator running robots from several vendors can unify them under SyncOS.
4. Benefits
Covers loads from light trolleys to 2,200 kg pallets with one vendor and one software layer. The MAG1500 Lifter carries up to 1,500 kg at up to 1.5 m/s with eight hours of run time per charge. SyncOS brings robots from other manufacturers under central control, avoiding vendor lock-in. The company reports over one million live production trips in 2025 and more than 200 systems deployed.
5. Market trends & opportunities
Manufacturers in Southeast Asia are moving from single-robot pilots to mixed fleets from several vendors, which makes orchestration software and system integration the main bottleneck. Heavy-payload AMRs that handle pallets and forklifts tasks are gaining ground as forklift driver shortages and safety rules tighten.
6. Other information
Headquartered in Singapore with offices in India, Indonesia, Thailand, Hong Kong SAR and Australia. Received additional Series A funding from SGInnovate in January 2026, entered the US through SK International and expanded into Australia and South Africa via partners. Named customers include Ford, Caterpillar, Kimberly-Clark, Coca-Cola, Aquaporin and Nestle.
