1. Technology overview
Capsule Security is a Tel Aviv-based company founded in 2025 by Naor Paz (CEO) and Lidan Hazout. It builds a runtime security layer for enterprise AI agents, based on the idea that an agent can have valid access and still take the wrong action.
The platform checks each proposed tool call against the authorized task and policy before execution, using Capsule-1, a fine-tuned small language model built with NVIDIA Nemotron detectors. Modules cover agentless discovery, an agent security graph, observability, runtime protection, agent identity control and whitebox red teaming.
2. Highlighted features & specifications
- Frictionless Discovery: agentless discovery of agents across systems, SaaS and endpoints.
- Agent Security Graph: maps agents, tools, data and actions to reveal risky paths.
- Deep Observability: real-time view of agent actions and decisions.
- Runtime Protection: enforces policy before actions execute.
- Agent Identity Control: tracks ownership, access and least privilege.
- Whitebox Red Teaming: tests agent logic and feeds findings to runtime protection.
3. Potential application
A bank deploying Microsoft Copilot Studio agents that must not exfiltrate customer data. A software company controlling what Claude Code or Cursor agents may run on developer machines. An enterprise auditing agent permissions across several platforms.
4. Benefits
Blocks unsafe agent tool calls before they execute, with allow, flag or block outcomes.
Discovers agents across home-grown systems, SaaS platforms and endpoints without agents.
Reports 98% accuracy on the public StepShield benchmark (vendor-stated).
Holds SOC 2 certification.
5. Market trends & opportunities
AI agents increasingly act on enterprise systems with real privileges, creating a runtime gap between a prompt and an action that attackers can exploit. Vietnamese enterprises adopting Copilot, Salesforce or coding agents will need controls at this layer.
6. Other information
Founded 2025, Tel Aviv. Seed round of 7 million USD announced 2026-04-15, led by Lama Partners and Forgepoint Capital International. SOC 2 badge on the website; collaboration with NVIDIA on detection models.
