1. Technology overview
Danish Graphene is a company in Vejle, Denmark, founded in 2020 with roots in research from the Department of Chemistry at Aarhus University. It produces graphene by an electrochemical process at its own facility and makes graphene oxide in-house, with a battery lab for testing.
Its thermal range includes GET AE 100 and GET AE 200, two-component thermal adhesives, and GET PS 100 and PS 200 graphene-enhanced thermal pastes that are dispensed or spread. The first product was a graphene-enhanced epoxy adhesive for thermal interface use in space-industry thermal management, with ESA recognition and funding in 2023. Other areas are construction, ink, anti-corrosion coating, batteries and composites.
2. Highlighted features & specifications
- GET AE 100: two-component thermal adhesive, sold as a test kit.
- GET AE 200: mixing-pack adhesive with higher viscosity and thermal conductivity.
- GET PS 100 and PS 200: graphene-enhanced thermal pastes, dispensed or spread.
- GO Paste: water-based paste with graphene oxide.
- In-house production: electrochemical graphene and graphene oxide, with a battery lab.
3. Potential application
Thermal bonding of power modules and LED or sensor assemblies at Vietnamese electronics plants. Heat transfer layers in EV battery and charger prototypes. Evaluation of graphene additives by local coating and composite makers.
4. Benefits
Graphene-enhanced epoxy adhesive developed for space-industry thermal management problems and recognised by ESA in 2023. Electrochemical production gives greater control and consistency in graphene quality. Test kits and small packs allow trials. Pastes come in dispensed and spread formats.
5. Market trends & opportunities
Electronics, EV batteries and space hardware need interface materials that remove heat from compact packages, and suppliers are adding graphene to adhesives and pastes. Vietnamese electronics and battery assemblers are potential buyers, and the 2026 partnership with Nagase is aimed at industrial distribution.
6. Other information
Address: Tysklandsvej 7, 7100 Vejle, Denmark (CVR 41406704). ESA recognition and funding in 2023. Strategic partnership with Nagase (Europa) GmbH announced 2026-03 per Graphene-Info.
