1. Technology overview
EarthDaily Analytics is a Vancouver, Canada based Earth observation company created in 2021 in partnership with Antarctica Capital. It offers vertically integrated satellites, ground systems, processed imagery and analytics so that agriculture, insurance, government and mining users can detect change every day rather than relying on sporadic images.
The EarthDaily Constellation has nine operational satellites plus an in-orbit spare carrying 22 calibrated bands across visible, shortwave infrared and thermal infrared, with 5 m visible and near-infrared resolution. A 240 km swath images about 92% of Earth's landmass daily at fixed local times. Data comes as AiRD, Rapid and Primary products and through the EarthOne platform, feeding analytics for crop identification, parametric insurance, wildfire and flood risk, mining and defence change monitoring. Customers include SynMax, Impact Forecasting and Malaysia's MySpatial.
2. Highlighted features & specifications
- AiRD: daily, cross-calibrated, atmospherically corrected imagery on a consistent grid.
- Rapid imagery: low-latency product for vessel detection and change attribution.
- Primary: 11-band analysis-ready imagery extending the Landsat and Sentinel record to daily cadence.
- EarthOne platform: processing and access to EarthDaily data.
- Agriculture analytics: Crop ID, Digital Ag, Territory Insights and Parametric Insurance.
- Risk and resources: wildfire and flood models plus Marigold, Iris and NightShade for mining and energy.
3. Potential application
- Agricultural insurers designing index-based rice or coffee products from daily vegetation and moisture data.
- Agribusinesses monitoring crop condition across sourcing regions in the Mekong Delta and Central Highlands.
- Mining and energy firms tracking site activity and environmental change.
4. Benefits
- Daily imaging of about 92% of global landmass at consistent viewing geometry, which simplifies time-series analysis.
- 22 calibrated bands combine vegetation, moisture, mineral and surface temperature information in one source.
- AI-ready, harmonised data reduces preprocessing before analytics.
- Ready analytics for agriculture, insurance, forestry, mining and defence shorten time to value.
5. Market trends & opportunities
Daily, calibrated imagery is becoming the basis for parametric crop insurance, food security monitoring and supply-chain risk. In Southeast Asia, where weather shocks hit agriculture and infrastructure often, regional mapping firms such as Malaysia's MySpatial are already contracting daily EO data and analytics.
6. Other information
Headquartered in Vancouver, Canada; created in 2021 with Antarctica Capital and funded by Trinity Capital in 2025. Acquired Descartes Labs (2024) and SkyForest (2025). Constellation integrated, launched and operated with Loft Orbital. Signed a USD 1.7 million, four-year contract with MySpatial of Malaysia in 2024.
One platform connecting startups, corporations, research institutions, regions and investors
