EASYRICE AI Rice Quality and Variety Inspection

Easy Rice Digital Technology Co., Ltd. (EASYRICE) is a Bangkok-based deep-tech company that grew out of university research and was established in 2019. It tackles the slow, subjective visual inspection of rice, in which experts examine kernels by eye to judge broken rice, impurities and varieties, causing disputes and rejection costs in the export trade.

Its products include EASYRICE M0, an AI rice quality inspection system that scans a sample and reports whole, head and broken kernels and impurities within minutes; EASYRICE MP, an AI paddy variety identification system that checks seed purity; and EASYRICE ERP for rice mill operations. Users are farmers, mills, importers, exporters and surveyors, and the company states more than one million AI inspections and a 40% share of Thailand's rice exports.
