EDTECH: LEVERAGING AI-POWERED TECHNOLOGIES TO TRANSFORM THE LEARNING EXPERIENCE
1. Technology overview
ForwardX Software Technology Co., Ltd is a company based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, that builds management software for logistics and freight forwarding businesses. Its product replaces scattered spreadsheets and separate tools with one connected system for the sales, documentation and accounting teams.
The platform is organised into five functional groups: sales (quotation and CRM), documentation (electronic documents and shipment management), accounting (cash flow and centralised accounting data), a customer portal for shipment tracking, and admin functions for reporting. The system can be customised and runs on multiple devices.
2. Highlighted features & specifications
- Sales module: quotation and automated CRM for forwarders.
- Documentation module: electronic documents and shipment file management.
- Accounting module: cash flow and centralised accounting data per shipment.
- Customer portal: real-time shipment tracking for clients.
- Admin and reporting: centralised management with visual reports across devices.
3. Potential application
A mid-sized freight forwarder in Ho Chi Minh City can run quotation, bills of lading and shipment accounting in one system. A consolidator can give shippers a portal to follow containers. A logistics group can consolidate branch reports for management.
4. Benefits
Quotations can be issued quickly with profit visible at quoting time. Sales, documentation and accounting share one data set, which reduces re-entry between departments. Customers can follow their shipments in real time through a portal, and management gets visual reports.
5. Market trends & opportunities
Vietnamese freight forwarders are moving from spreadsheets and disconnected tools toward integrated ERP systems as customers expect real-time tracking and fast quotations. The company's site also compares on-premise and cloud ERP models, reflecting a growing shift to cloud deployment in the sector.
