i-OEE Real-time Equipment Effectiveness Monitoring

A beverage or snack factory could track filling and date-printing lines to find speed losses. A mechanical workshop could follow CNC and welding robot utilization before deciding on new investment.

Downtime is tracked to the second and broken down by shift, area and machine, so supervisors can target the largest losses. i-Soft says factories can gain 10 to 20% efficiency without buying new machines. Reports by shift, day and week are generated and emailed automatically, removing manual tallies, and deployment can start with one machine before expanding to lines and plants.

Vietnamese manufacturers face rising labor costs and pressure from FDI customers to show measurable productivity. Many plants still estimate OEE from paper logs, and short stops go unrecorded. Affordable machine connectivity and local support make real-time OEE monitoring practical for small and mid-sized factories.
