1. Technology overview
ISISPACE (Innovative Solutions In Space) is a Dutch small satellite company founded in 2006 and based in Delft, with over 150 staff. It provides end-to-end space missions, helping universities, agencies and companies put payloads into orbit without designing every subsystem themselves, and reports serving more than 50 countries.
Its flight-proven CubeSat platforms come in 3U, 6U(XL), 8U, 12U(XL) and 16U, with VHF/UHF or S-band telemetry, up to 64 GB storage, optional propulsion and a software development kit. ISISPACE also sells subsystems such as solar panels, power systems and antennas, and launch equipment including the QuadPack and DuoPack deployers, a microsatellite separation system and deployment sequencers. Its deployers have launched more than 820 satellites on 70 missions; customers include ESA, Rocket Lab and OHB.
2. Highlighted features & specifications
- CubeSat platforms: 3U, 6U(XL), 8U, 12U(XL) and 16U buses with up to 12U payload volume.
- Communications: VHF/UHF and S-band links with downlink up to 4.3 Mbps.
- Power subsystems: GaAs solar panels and modular or compact electrical power systems.
- Antennas: S-band patch, S-band TMTC, GNSS and VHF/UHF antenna systems.
- Launch equipment: QuadPack and DuoPack deployers, Deep Space Deployer and a separation system up to 120 kg.
- Mission support: payload integration, training and engineering model platforms.
3. Potential application
- Vietnamese universities and space centres procuring a 6U platform and training for an education or AIS mission.
- Local satellite builders buying solar panels, power systems or antennas for their own CubeSat designs.
- Payload developers testing a new sensor on a 12U or 16U platform with integrated launch support.
4. Benefits
- Flight-proven platforms from 3U to 16U shorten development for payload owners.
- One supplier for bus, subsystems, deployers and launch integration support.
- Engineering models and an SDK let teams develop payload interfaces and flight software early.
- Deployer heritage of more than 820 satellites across 70 missions, including Japan's H3 rocket.
5. Market trends & opportunities
CubeSats have become the entry point for national space programmes, universities and commercial payload tests. Southeast Asian countries are investing in space capacity and education satellites, and often buy proven buses and subsystems to reduce risk on first missions.
6. Other information
Founded in 2006; headquartered in Delft, the Netherlands, with over 150 professionals from more than 30 nationalities. Reports 50+ countries served and 300 customers. Projects include two 16U TANGO satellites for ESA and Deep Space Deployers for ESA's HERA mission.
