Kett Rice and Grain Quality Analyzers (RN-700E, AN-830)

Kett Co., Ltd. was founded on 26 October 1946 and is headquartered in Ota-ku, Tokyo, Japan. It designs and manufactures moisture testers, NIR composition analyzers, grain inspectors, whiteness testers, water activity analyzers and coating thickness testers, giving rice mills, grain traders, food factories and research stations objective measurements instead of manual sensory grading.

For rice, the Grain Appearance Analyzer RN-700E, released in November 2025, quantifies the appearance quality of brown and milled rice for mill quality control and agricultural experiment stations. The NIR Grain Analyzer AN-830, released the same month, measures moisture, protein and amylose in milled and brown rice without reagents, pretreatment or grinding. The wider range includes grain moisture meters, quality judging instruments, whiteness testers and the TR-270 automatic rice husker launched in April 2025.
