Megaliter Wastewater Reuse Model

Megaliter Varunaa is a Hyderabad-based wastewater management company founded in 2022 and a subsidiary of Banka BioLoo Limited. It runs sewage treatment plants for residential and commercial properties under a subscription model that removes upfront capital expenditure for the property owner.

Greywater is collected, treated by a membrane bioreactor (MBR), filtered and disinfected, then stored for non-potable reuse such as flushing, landscaping and cooling. The service includes expert-led maintenance, real-time monitoring, and STP audits and upgrades. The company targets recycling 15 billion litres of wastewater a year by 2030.
