MICUBE SmartFactory Cloud MES

MICUBE Solution is a Seoul-based smart factory and manufacturing AI company founded in 2010 and listed on KOSDAQ in 2023. It helps manufacturers in electronics, semiconductors, machinery, automotive, batteries and food turn shop-floor data into decisions, and runs a website in Korean, English, Chinese, Japanese and Vietnamese.

Its SmartFactory product is a cloud-based MES launched as MICUBE Cloud MES in 2018: customers pick only the modules they need, and a multi-tenant cloud version serves each business unit separately. Smart Equipment connects machines to MES and EES over HSMS/SECS, OPC, PLC and socket protocols, and Smart UX provides an HTML5 screen designer. The MES links with Smart EES, Smart AI and a Smart Digital Twin platform, and with an equipment AI agent that answers questions in natural language.

A Vietnamese food processor can use the HACCP-oriented cloud MES to record critical control points and trace lots. A Korean-invested electronics or battery supplier in Bac Ninh or Hai Phong can connect equipment over SECS/GEM or PLC and track WIP. A machinery maker can start with production monitoring and later add equipment AI for fault diagnosis.

Selecting only the required modules lowers the initial build cost, which suits smaller plants. Lot tracking links production, quality, material and equipment history for traceability, including HACCP records in food plants. The vendor cites more than 700 on-site deployments and offers consulting through to operation and maintenance, so buyers can grow from MES to equipment AI and digital twin on one data pipeline.

Korean suppliers are expanding with their customers into Vietnam, where many electronics, battery and food plants still run on paper or spreadsheets. Modular, subscription-style cloud MES lowers the entry barrier for mid-sized factories, and the next step after MES is equipment AI and digital twins built on the same data.

Founded in 2010 and headquartered in Seocho-gu, Seoul, with branches in Suwon and Changwon; listed on KOSDAQ in 2023. Awards include the 2025 National Productivity Award (AI Leader) and the 2025 Korea AI Industry Award; designated an AI Factory specialist by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy in 2025. Formed a joint venture in Jiangsu, China in 2026. The website has a Vietnamese version, though no Vietnam office is listed.
