1. Technology overview
Neubility is a Seoul-based robotics company that describes itself as an integrated robotics-as-a-service provider built on physical AI. It supplies robot hardware, a software platform and operations management and monitoring as one service, so retailers, food brands, builders and security firms can use autonomous robots without running fleets themselves.
Its Neubie robot comes in three models: a delivery model optimised for indoor and outdoor autonomous driving, a patrol model with built-in CCTV for real-time hazard detection and alerts, and an open-cargo model with expandable space for logistics transport. A compact autonomous driving module can be fitted to third-party robots, a RaaS API connects robots to customer systems, and Billi is a hybrid humanoid combining mobility and manipulation. Deployment data feed back into its robot intelligence.
2. Highlighted features & specifications
- Delivery model: autonomous indoor and outdoor delivery for food and retail orders.
- Patrol model: built-in CCTV with real-time hazard detection and alerts.
- Open-cargo model: expandable cargo space for logistics transport on sites.
- RaaS API: integrates robots with customers' existing business systems.
- Autonomy module: compact self-driving kit that can be added to other robots.
- Billi humanoid: hybrid robot combining mobility with manipulation for transport, security and manufacturing.
3. Potential application
Convenience store chains in Vietnam could deliver orders within large residential townships using the delivery model. Security service companies could deploy patrol robots across industrial parks and construction sites at night. Resorts and golf courses could move supplies with the open-cargo model.
4. Benefits
Customers pay for a service rather than buying and maintaining robots, with a dedicated manager from diagnosis through maintenance. A two-year warranty covers care, repair costs, parts and travel expenses. Solutions are co-developed for each site to maximise robot utilisation. Neubility reports 146,721 km of autonomous driving, 140+ sites in operation and 23,000+ completed tasks.
5. Market trends & opportunities
Asian cities are testing robot delivery to offset rider shortages and rising delivery fees, with trials moving from Korea to Japan. Security and facility firms are adding patrol robots to cover large sites. Vietnam's dense urban areas, gated townships, resorts and industrial parks offer similar use cases for service-based delivery and patrol robots.
