1. Technology overview
NewCore is an identity company founded by Zohar Alon (CEO, previously founder of Dome9, acquired by Check Point), Amihai Neiderman (CTO) and Erez Yarkoni, with offices in Tel Aviv and San Francisco and more than 50 employees. It addresses a blended workforce of people and AI agents that lacks clear ownership and access control.
The platform has three pillars: Discover maps people and agents in one identity graph, Secure issues short-lived task-scoped access with no standing credentials, and Govern checks each agent action against one policy engine that can allow, ask or deny. Teams can start alongside their current identity provider with a read-only connection or move to NewCore's Identity Foundation. Features include Secure Split Key for SAML and OIDC signing, VisualMFA and hardware-bound credentials.
2. Highlighted features & specifications
- Identity graph: maps people and agents with owner and reach for each.
- Task-scoped access: short-lived credentials limited by the permissions of the delegating person.
- Policy engine: allows, asks or denies each agent action with central revocation.
- Secure Split Key: removes the single point of failure in SAML and OIDC signing.
- Phishing-resistant authentication: VisualMFA and TPM or Secure Enclave bound credentials.
- Coding agent skill: integration for Claude Code, Codex and Cursor.
3. Potential application
A software company can govern AI coding agents with short-lived task-scoped tokens. A bank can run NewCore read-only beside its current identity provider to discover shadow accounts. A large enterprise can consolidate human and agent policies in one engine.
4. Benefits
- Shows where AI agents are, who owns them and what they can reach.
- Short-lived, task-scoped access removes standing credentials for agents.
- Read-only start alongside the existing identity platform lowers adoption risk.
- Company states migration takes hours with zero downtime.
5. Market trends & opportunities
Enterprises are adding AI agents faster than identity teams can inventory and govern them, and analyst coverage now treats agent identity governance as its own need. Vietnamese organisations moving to SSO and adopting coding or workflow agents will meet the same gap.
6. Other information
Emerged from stealth 15 June 2026 with $66M from Cyberstarts, Index Ventures and Evolution Equity Partners. Offices in Tel Aviv and San Francisco, more than 50 employees. Available to enterprise customers.
