Ocean Security was founded in 2024 by Shay Shwartz (CEO) and Oran Moyal (CTO), according to coverage by Ynet and TechCrunch. It targets phishing, business email compromise and AI-generated social engineering that slip past signature-based secure email gateways.

The platform deploys a network of AI agents that investigate every email in real time, assessing sender identity, organisational context, content and links. It connects to Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 and can replace or augment an existing email gateway. Modules include Investigation, Auto-Triage for SOC and real-time employee assistance.
